From West Africa, ''Abonsam'' was a ''Chaos Demon'' responsible for disease (Plague) and accidentals. People said to be inflicted by this Demon must be purged by a Shaman in a precise Ritual (which takes 28 days). The Victim(s) must observe total silence throughout!. All internal furnishings are thus removed and The Shaman and His Assistants use sticks to ''beat'' The House and ''yelling and shouting out'' The Spirit of Abonsam.
