The Battle of Visby was fought on July 27, 1361. Danish forces under King Valdemar IV landed on Gotland Island, with the aim to capture the small coastal town of Visby. With no standing army, the Gutnish Militia of peasants attempted to hold off the superior forces. Visby was not a fortified city, with only a few defense towers. It fell with little loss of life to the Danes. Many Gutnish peasants fell.
This map is as close to possible to the battle as possible. The field was small due to the Dane forces having just landed. The City was close to the coast.
A version of the City had been provided, showing mostly the "few defense towers and very poor City entrance" - per the Danes.
The Keep is present put walled off. This is an unscripted invasion map, great for a good scripter. Be Danish and slaughter the Gutnish Militia or let the Militia push the Danes back to the sea!
