Evil is always watching.For seven years, the sorcerer Mygald has watched the giant lord Hyrm in covetous desire for his land. The richest of the Tyrol belonged to the giant, and Mygald had always been a jealous man.
Evil is always watching.
It took years for Mygald to summon forth an army of demons, lycanthrope, and vampires, but his task was completed nonetheless. But he wished to undertake his assault with the element of surprise, so he consulted his scrolls and tomes of sorcery to come about the solution.
Mygald cast two powerful spells of portale', or teleportation, in Hyrm's land. The first spell brought forth a mighty earthquake and sundered much of the mountains and hills into a deep and fiery pit. When minutes had passed the land closed up again into a shallow crater, and now a massive black spire pierced forth from the center.
The second spell cursed the very ground itself with a red hand, the mark of the sorcerer. From this red hand burned into whatever is placed upon it, snow, plant, or boulder, would rise a stench of cadaver, day and night.
It would be only minutes before Mygald would send his devils through the portals.
Evil is always watching.
