Legends Lord Editor Released!

Recommended Posts

Hello dear Lords and Ladies,

I'm delighted to announce that Stronghold Legends has received another modding utility, the Community Lord Editor! 😄

This lightweight program allows you to view and tailor the Legends AI bot behaviours to your liking! Add Dietrich a few macemen to guard the Lord, or make Alfred launch sieges. Many things are possible now.

The Lord Editor presents you the various lord attributes in a user-friendly way. If you need more information about a certain field or category, just hover the button over the element or the parchment to get a short summary of information.

You can download the program here, where you will find additional information about how to use and what you can do with the utility.

The Editor will continue to receive updates and fixes in the future time. In case of questions or feature / bug reports, just PM me or comment under this thread!

Also, I hereby want to thank the enthusiasm and providing support in the closed testing for:

Wishing you happy editing from the administration,

Asophix

Congratulations! 😀👍

I've already got a question. What's the process of sharing new lords going to be?

Do we simply submit them to the Legends Miscellaneous section or should we make a thread on the Legends subforum as well previewing the new lord?

I can help with this one. Getting Beowulf into custom skirmish was the first thing I did with the Lord Editor when @ Asophix shared the draft version. The .zip contains all the files to change Vlad into Beowulf.

Alternatively if you'd like to replace Mordred I can help with that.

Looking at the file with the pictures of the Skirmish opponents that's pretty crazy they were spot on with who I personally saw as potential lords in the game.

Beowulf, Alfred, (potentially Sigenot, Laruin, and Janibas), Morgan Le Fay, and I would be most excited about Radu since I imagine him being a lord similar to Vlad but Arthuranian.

In hindsight, it's really odd how Morgan le Fay never made it into skirmish mode. She'd make the perfect third ice lord with a focus on witches.

Dwarf king would have been easiest, crossbowmen fit the slow and strong type of units that Dwarves are, and are underused units in Vanilla.

But i have a feeling Firefly would just then force them only on Trails, not sure why for 1.3 they did not add Alfred and Beowulf to standard Custom Skirmish.

The best thing to do would be to upload them to the downloads section and then link them on the foru if you would like to start a discussion. There is also a subscribe feature on download categories as well, if anyone are interested.

Not only is this UI beautiful and on theme, but the additional warning helpers are super great for the user experience. I appreciate having so much insight into the AI's actions. The AI user patch being discussed in the other thread is probably a good pursuit.

Hello, good Lords and Ladies! It's to my pleasure to bring light to a custom Legends mission pack: The Lost King campaign by @ IgnasheunKnight ! Originally introduced as the War Campaign in Stronghold 2, this re-imagination serves to re-tell a very similar experience with the cast of Stronghold Legends. Controlling Sir Bedivere, you must work your way through hostile Ice and Evil lands either to restore the rule of King Arthur, or to show your might as the ultimate ruler over Europe.

Does anyone recognise these screenshots? I've been forwarded a link to a website by @ Average tahiti enjoyer initially speculating this was a mod, but I can find lots of different examples of the exact same screenshot being used on other websites so I'm beginning to wonder if it was released by Firefly instead, possibly as some kind of demo. I couldn't find any download links, at least on that website. I like this build and think it would be good to have as a mod of some kind.

    • Introducing: the Stronghold Legends Ai Editor!

Hello everyone! For some time now, @ Asophix has been working on refining and advancing the Stronghold Knights AI Castle Editor program, originally created to work with Stronghold 2. His intention is to create a program where the community can edit and create their own AI Castle Designs in Stronghold Legends. This is a truly historic moment and for the first time, you can now control aspects of Stronghold Legends which were previously never possible. The work far exceeds the orig

    • Play Legends Matches With Us!

Greetings! Lately, @ Lord_Chris  and me @ Asophix of the Stronghold Nation staff has started testing our mettle in Stronghold Legends again. Be it a friendly spar, or a true test of weapons and skill against wanderers on the Internet, we gladly invite everyone to our hearth! We frequently play both in an organized manner on Steam, via the in-game lobby system. Generally we prefer 10min peace time matches with low starting rank, low resources and no building or troop restrictions.

    • How Well Does Stronghold Legends V 1.2 Translate Into the Steam Edition?

So after having many crashing issues with version 1.2 of Stronghold Legends and shortly after realizing I lost the Stronghold Collection disk sometime after Christmas (if you don't know you can still play the Stronghold Collection games even if you lose the disk if the game is already downloaded to your computer) I uninstalled Stronghold Legends v 1.2 from my laptop a day or two ago. Today I did obtain the game again through Steam (yay!) and whilst playing through the King Arthur campaign (just
