Hi guys,

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to get your feedback within the 21 days I initially thought. There have been a lot of personal circumstances and complications since the contest closed, including a bereavement and also contracting covid, although luckily I appear to have been ok. Nonetheless, I feel like I need some time to rest from this, and I don't want to push myself too much with anything. I also want to make sure that I can take my time to look at your entries and not rush anything, so I I'm going to have to delay judging for the meantime. I'm hoping that I should have the entries properly looked at and graded by 8th November.

Get better soon 🙂
I would rather know you have tkaen your time with it. Also are you the only judge? I thought there was at least one more person who would not be allowed to participate but to judge the contest entries?

Thanks

My ideal scenario would have been to have had a panel of 3 judges, separate from the person Administrating the contest, unfortunately as nobody else stepped forward I was the only person who was able to do it.

I would have thought that Eagle Prince would be a judge, as you pointed out earlier that he wasn't allowed to participate as a contestant.

Yes, I was supposed to, but it was completely my fault. I had tons of work this month, and some family obligations. That is why I wasn't around for a while.emoji45.png

Unfortunately with delays due to covid and my own extenuating personal circumstances, I still haven't been able to grade any of the submissions yet. I'm very sorry about this, but there's not really anything I could have done about it.

However, I have agreed to let @EaglePrince judge alongside me and both of our scores will be averaged out. The new deadline for grading the contest is therefore 30 November 2020. We will try to reach a conclusion by that time.

Thanks to everyone for your continued patience and support!

Well as long as you know more about it until release of warlords, it would be probably fine ^^
But that doesnt mean, tht i would want you to wait that long ofc.

But yeah, i hope you get some time to seriously play through anll the entries.
If you need any more information on any of those, you could also just reach out to the contestants i guess 🙂

It will definitely be ready before the release of Warlords, that's a cast iron guarantee. You will all get your prizes as soon as we've both graded and averaged your submissions. I'm sorry it's taken this long without any results.

The things that have happened have been totally beyond my control, but I haven't been able to do this or much else because of them.

Now that the contest has closed for a long time, could you reveal who/how many people entered?

Sure, we had 4 entries. Yourself, @artofmath, @Andreas9541 and @Lord Mordred.

I totally forgot about the contest. There was even a new chapter of Berserk that came out before the contest was over, so something strange must have happened. Just kidding.

I hope you guys are doing well and I hope that anyone who tried my map to not have experienced the same lag as I did when testing it. Unfortunately, there are not health measures against lag.

Yeah I'm sorry that we still haven't been able to conclude it yet. I'm aware it's been dragging on for a while now, but through extenuating personal circumstances I just hadn't managed to reach any of the previous deadlines set. I'm pretty sure I will be able to reach this one now, though so hopefully it shouldn't be too much longer.

Years ago, with some realism, I have imagined and documented Sarum Castle — a formidable fortress along the North Norfolk Coast in England during the early 1400s fully sustained by its household and town. Key features which you can consider for your own castle: Concentric design: Two defensive layers around the keep, with moats, drawbridges and barbicans. Defensive tricks: Trebuchets, mangonels, ballistas, rolling logs, oil and stone tippers along different hidden traps and k
