The stockpile stores your primary resources, including wood and stone. It is the first building you must place in your castle. Only one stockpile can be built, and it holds an infinite quantity of resources.By looking at your stockpile you can see the rough amount of goods you have stored, but clicking on the stockpile will bring up a panel showing the actual amounts.The stockpile also allows you to buy and sell its resources, without the need for a market.

Cost: 20 wood
The wood camp produces wood from the surrounding trees and forest. Build them near trees, since most of the woodcutter’s time is spent travelling between his camp and the tree he is cutting. The chopped wood is stored in the stockpile.Wood is used in the construction of most buildings and weapons.

Cost: 50 wood
Provides stone which is delivered to the stockpile and used to builds walls, towers and gatehouses. An ox tether is required to transport the stone to the stockpile.

The iron mine produces iron from the iron ore found on the map. Iron mines can only be built on the rust coloured iron ore. An ox tether is required to transport the iron back to the stockpile. Iron is used to forge weapons such as armour, maces, pikes and swords.

Cost: 40 wood
Pitch rigs produce pitch, a flammable, thick sludge that is dredged from marshlands found on the map. Pitch rigs can only be built on marshland. Pitch is stored in the stockpile. Pitch can be used to build pitch ditches, and to boil up in the oil smelter for dropping onto your luckless enemies from the castle walls.

Used to transport iron and stone to the stockpile.
