Thomas Blackstaff - Stronghold 3 Characters

Thomas Blackstaff is a major character in Stronghold 3.

Thomas Blackstaff is one of the independent northern lords and later ally of the Boy. Blackstaff has a notorious reputation and was banished to the northern marshlands by the king prior to the game’s events. Blackstaff himself is a great warrior and military commander. Desperate for allies in their war, the Boy seeks out Blackstaff, despite Lord Longarm’s opposition. He arrives just in time as Blackstaff is under siege by the forces of Rupert Silverback. Blackstaff agrees to join the Boy’s cause if they survive Silverback‘s nighttime attack. Following their victory, Blackstaff becomes one of the Boy’s trusted companions. 

Later he is the protagonist of the Blackstaff campaign. He’s dispatched to hunt down the fleeing rats and follows them back to his home island. There he leads a local uprising against the rats and their ally, the Brotherhood.
