Today in school I have been given the chance to do a exam with Microsoft Office 2013. This includes Word, Powerpoint and Excel. If I pass I will be certified as a MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist). The first exam, which is Excel will be this Tuesday. I have only a few days to practice with the information and small tasks we've been given. There are 20 of us in my school taking part and only the top 10 will be taken to the Microsoft Studios for a day and then will do another exam there with a chance to win Microsoft prizes.

 

There are about 60 people in all the schools taking part and the top 10 is between all them. I'm hoping to do well as it will look great on my CV for later on in life.

 

Just wanted to share this with you, whether you care or not is a different story, but thank you for reading this either way :)

Thank you for all the replies! Today I did 2 practice tests (both scoring out of 1000) 700 is the score to pass, I managed to get 813 and 823. Hopefully I will do this well in the real thing :)

Apologies for the late update. Again thank you for all the good wishes. It seems it worked as I have passed all 3 tests with a score above 850 for each one. Yay! :)
