Thank you for supporting us and making Stronghold Crusader 2 the number one best selling game on Steam. Our first ever independently developed and funded Stronghold game, Crusader 2 was built with your encouragement, feedback and support over the past two years. This is far from the end for the game, with content updates, DLC and patches all planned to follow in the weeks and months after launch, but it gives us great pleasure to say that our strategy sequel is now available on Steam! Just like you some of us, having worked on Stronghold Crusader back in 2002, have been waiting for this moment for over twelve years now. Very nice.

 

Good to heat that the launch was a success.

I baught the game yesterday and so far I have only been able to take a short look into it. There are - of course - things that still need ot be fixed. But overall my impression is good. I spent a few happy hours with the game so far.

I think it's pretty impressive that they managed to get a patch out already to fix some bugs - I'm going to be getting it shortly after hearing (tonight when I get in if I can be bothered) it looks pretty good so far!

 

If anyone is interested in writing any articles on SHC2 that will appear on the main site, you can PM them to me & I'll add them for you :)

      Does anyone recognise these screenshots? I've been forwarded a link to a website by @ Average tahiti enjoyer initially speculating this was a mod, but I can find lots of different examples of the exact same screenshot being used on other websites so I'm beginning to wonder if it was released by Firefly instead, possibly as some kind of demo. I couldn't find any download links, at least on that website. I like this build and think it would be good to have as a mod of some kind.
