EaglePrince 261 Posted August 30, 2014 That's right, I am a proud owner of Nokia Asha 202 - it's Symbian (Series 40) OS, and Nokia Xpress browser. Sometimes I also use Opera Mini. :)Off topic, it's a great phone, although it is one of those cheap ones, but what I like about it is the fact that it's touch and type phone. I'd love it if there were more phones like that. :) 0 Stronghold Crusader faces and shields Stronghold Europe website
Mathew Steel 151 Posted August 30, 2014 I won't judge I had a Nokia 2680 up until the age of 12. I had it for 5 years until I decided it wasn't very cool taking a small brick to school everyday  now I'm a proud owner of a very fragile iPhone 5 :D 0 "Gofyn wyf am galon hapus, calon onest, calon l?n." EaglePrince 261 Posted August 30, 2014 Oh, you may like to see how my first phone looked like. :D I don't remember what model it was, but I think it was this one.Speaking about your old phone, I agree - it was too basic (I mean, I guess that, when you bought a new one, it was not only about being cool :) ). It's a nice phone for someone using his phone only for SMS's and calls, but it has low memory, and I think it cannot be connected to computer. 0 Stronghold Crusader faces and shields Stronghold Europe website
Mathew Steel 151 Posted August 30, 2014 That's right. Although back then I didn't really need it for anything else. So much has changed with technology in little years. Luckily I'm managing to stay on top of it and understand. Just simple things like kicking people off my internet through going into my router configurator :D 0 "Gofyn wyf am galon hapus, calon onest, calon l?n." Lord_Chris 284 Posted August 31, 2014 now I'm a proud owner of a very fragile iPhone 5 I'm currently looking into that, how would you rate it? 0 Quote The fields have eyes, and the woods have ears. — Geoffrey Chaucer, The Canterbury Tales: The Knight's Tale Useful Articles Stronghold Legends Trails & Walkthroughs Scripting Invasions & Using Invasion Markers Extracting Audio Assets from Stronghold 3 Locking/Unlocking Stronghold Crusader 2 Maps
Mathew Steel 151 Posted August 31, 2014 (edited) If you already have an iPhone 4. I wouldn't bother upgrading for the price it is, since there isn't a large amount of differences between the 2 phones. If not, go for it. The phone is easy to use, it's slick and it has a nice feel to it when you open it up. If you download a lot of apps, go for the 32GB as I have the 16GB and only have 3GB left. This is sort of because the OS on the phone is about 3GB itself. Battery life isn't great and if I were you I would buy a separate charger as the apple charger breaks easily and isn't very strong. I got a spare one from Carphone Warehouse for ?18 and it hasn't failed me yet :) Just a note. Since you are in the UK like me. Do not go with O2 as a provider. They are useless, especially with iPhone 5 as the data connection is weaker then the iPhone 4. My recommendation would be to go with EE or 3. Also iPhone 5C or iPhone 5S is just extra money that isn't needed to be spent. Overall rating, 8/10 ADDITION: I couldn't help but giggle at the title of the topic "Phone Discussion" Edited August 31, 2014 by Mathew Steel 1 "Gofyn wyf am galon hapus, calon onest, calon l?n." Lord_Chris 284 Posted August 31, 2014 I currently have the LG Optimus (something, I can never remember exactly what) and I'm looking into either the IPhone 4 or 5, personally I think the five has better features (i.e. the 4G & the fingerprint sensor) ADDITION: I couldn't help but giggle at the title of the topic "Phone Discussion I couldn't think of a good title. So, you're more than welcome to give me a better one and I'll rename it :) 0 Quote The fields have eyes, and the woods have ears. — Geoffrey Chaucer, The Canterbury Tales: The Knight's Tale Useful Articles Stronghold Legends Trails & Walkthroughs Scripting Invasions & Using Invasion Markers Extracting Audio Assets from Stronghold 3 Locking/Unlocking Stronghold Crusader 2 Maps
