Engineers are perhaps the most versatile and useful units in the game. They are required to build and man all of your siege equipment in and out of the castle as well as to use boiling oil. These units are trained in the engineer's guild. They can also fill up moats. Engineer's are very fragile and should be kept safe from enemy fire until they man their siege weapons.
