EaglePrince 261 Posted August 27, 2014 Hi. I meant to tell that for a while I am not able to see from this website if there are any new files submitted to downloads section. Before I was able to see that "new items" tag near section or subsection name, but now the only way I could see if there are some new items would be to watch over dates when the latest file was submitted. I did try clearing browser cash and clearing almost all browser data, but no success. I also tried to visit the downloads section using both - Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. When you logout (the same with threads) and that you haven't read get forgotten. By the way, how to we access those pages? If it doesn't say that, it's a script error, if it does, you'll need to tell me when you've logged in/out since that file was approved. We'll wait until next time anyway, hopefully it's nothing. Lord_Chris 284 Posted October 11, 2014 (edited) I've spent all day working on the last (known) bug in the downloads section (apart from the one above) and now when you update your files it's not only more secure, but quicker as well. I'm making the files there more like topics so users can subscribe/unsubscribe to files and they will get notified about all replies after - it's easier than how it is now. And there will also be notifications of new comments/reviews on files as well when it's complete. Lord_Chris 284 Posted October 12, 2014 Yes, these are only some of the updates, I'm also removing the user subscriptions (firstly, who actually uses them?) and the favourites and replacing it with download section subscriptions (when a new file is approved for download section X, you'll get an email if you want) and the same for files, the equivalent of topics here on the forum. On the forum, you can scroll down the page and click the "subscribe" link to be emailed new replies to that topic - the exact same thing will be available in the downloads section for files in a few days.
