This would be for her father in fact... He wouldn't play any games, that for sure :) , but he would use it to browse internet and to watch movies etc... I did assume that... But do you think he wouldn't have any problems with playing movies and browsing internet and watching videos on youtube? :D I guess that no PC one buys today would have any problems playing videos and movies, but I'm just asking - just in case. :) Thanks for your help. :)

Hi, my girlfriend wants to buy a new laptop, and now I'm trying to help her with the choice... Unfortunately I shall need your help. :D In graphics it only says Intel HD graphics, and I assume this is something like integrated graphics - only this is into into motherboard but into CPU if I am correct. This is the processor this laptop has. Can you tell how good this graphics is? Maybe give me some comparison to some "normal" GPU? :) Thanks in advance. :)

By the way, what do you think about renaming the mod to "Stronghold England" instead? It is shorter, but of course if "Stronghold The Medieval England" sounds better to you, it's also good for me. Indeed, games nor mods don't have to have short names... I have renamed the website by the way, it is Stronghold The Medieval England, although I didn't change the name on many other places yet. But I did it where it is the most important.

I heard the same thing, and I also heard that about Uplay... I understand that they are able to say "no refunds, you were given a functioning product (there was no damage, etc...)", but it is good that they do this. In fact, this way more people would buy from them - rather than from a store, if they can replace a game, or get money back easier. I understand that there is different situation about this matter in different countries, and each store is a story for itself, but I have realized that those guys in the store in my town are good guys in this matter, so Steam does have to offer us even better service if they want us to buy games from Steam instead. :)

I know many don't like Steam here, but I just wanted to share this thing with you guys, as I find it interesting, and it may be possible that someone may not notice it. If we have look at what they say, it is a nice thing - being able to get a refund for a purchased game while only condition is not having playing the game for more than two hours (although for some games two hours is not enough to see if it suits you) and that one needs to ask for a refund within the fourteen days after the purchase. They also claim that they would give the refunds in any case if the two conditions are satisfied, including if someone buys a game which he cannot run on his/her computer.

can you tell, does this "one year free upgrade" means that we have one year if we want to upgrade to Windows 10 for free, or we are able to upgrade and after one year we will have to buy the new one - like we're going to have a trail version? I'm asking this just in case, although I won't be upgrading that soon as I believe that my PC will not work so smooth (with its current hardware) on Windows 10. :)

That is correct, even the guy who was fixing this computer recently called it "hard disc", he would certainly know if it's something else - like SSD... He does like to talk a lot, that's how I know he would have told me. :)

Damn, you do know what's the most important, man! :D Thanks for the advice! I'll keep in mind that thing with hard disc, as I am almost sure that this one is not SSD - it's some 160 GB hard disc...

Thanks for the link, this one is helpful. I may use that and try to make a tutorial or something for those people who have the issue... But it's damn wrong from Firefly that they ignore the problem, this guy told this to them about three years ago, and they've done nothing. I realize they want to show players "hey, look how great graphics you now have", but something goes wrong at some computers, and all one could do is copying the cfg from another computer, or plugging in another monitor so they could change what they need to change.

Thanks for reply, it's great to have it in our downloads section, and I'll keep that in mind, as lots of people ask for that. :) Still, our issue here is not unlocking missions, but changing resolution from some too high (which is being set by default) to 1024x768. They all have a game they are able to play but: to play it first they need to change the resolution to a lower one, but they can't do that cause when they run the game they only see the black screen. :)

Hi! The question says everything I think. I would like to see how this could be done, as a lot of players have this problem. Crusader HD, or Stronghold HD, is installed and the game chooses some high resolution which cannot be displayed, and because of this they get message "Out of range" or they simply get the black screen while they can hear the music and everything. I tried opening the file using notepad++, but I had no luck, I only saw some random characters, and lots of some "null"'s in black rectangles. After we find a way to change these settings manually I would make an article about it, or I could put this in this tread within the first message here. I realize we could help by sending our config files, but I'm sure that's not what people want - maybe some of them have their own progress on Crusader trail, some of the campaigns, etc... I will try out some other stuff as well, and yes - this is not a top priority, everything works fine to me. :) Only I wanted to make a text how to fix this issue "out of range", and post it here, and when someone has this issue we would be able to give him the link to that text at Stronghold Nation.

Well, since I didn't upgrade the GPU nor CPU yet the tread is not old. :p About the currency - you assumed correctly. :) ...and indeed, 33500 Serbian dinars is not too much. Thanks for telling me about that, I will consider that too, and see what I can get this way, and compare it to a PC I can get here in some stores. Thanks. :)

Hi, I just came to this idea... One way to this would be to have this notification on the top bar near "Private Messages" for example, and it would be "No New Files", when there is something we haven't checked yet, and there would be "There are 3 new files" if there are 3 new files for example. Also Downloads Section could be displayed as a section by itself - not as a subsection of Site Questions and Support, and it could change the icon when there are new files just the way a section icon would change when someone makes a new post there. Perhaps this could also work with comments from downloads section. What do you think about this? I do guess this wouldn't be an easy task to do though, but I just wanted to bring out the idea. :)

Well, if that would help, we don't really need the BBcode in the comment system - if that would help. Stronghold Heaven has plain text in comment system too. :) Just an idea, but I'm sure you know better. :)
